چکیده

The success-history based adaptive differential evolution (SHADE) algorithm is an efficient modified version of the (DE) algorithm, and it has been successfully applied to solve some real-world optimization problems. However, best our knowledge, rarely in field structural optimization. optimal design structures with frequency constraints well known as a highly nonlinear non-convex problem many local optima. In this paper, SHADE examined context size large-scale truss multiple constraints. SHADE, historical memory successful control parameter settings used guide generation new parameters. order demonstrate effectiveness efficiency three problems are presented. examples considered paper include 600-bar single-layer dome-shaped truss, 1180-bar 1410-bar double-layer truss. results obtained by presented compared best-known reported literature. Numerical indicate superior performance over other algorithms terms solution accuracy robustness. It worth mentioning that all cases considered, designs ones literature so far. often requires fewer analyses than those required algorithms.

OPTIMAL DESIGN OF GRAVITY DAM USING DIFFERENTIAL EVOLUTION ALGORITHM

The shape optimization of gravity dam is posed as an optimization problem with goals of minimum value of concrete, stresses and maximum safety against overturning and sliding need to be achieved. Optimally designed structure generally saves large investments especially for a large structure. The size of hydraulic structures is usually huge and thus requires a huge investment. If the optimizatio...

IMPROVED BAT ALGORITHM FOR OPTIMUM DESIGN OF LARGE-SCALE TRUSS STRUCTURES

Deterring the optimum design of large-scale structures is a difficult task. Great number of design variables, largeness of the search space and controlling great number of design constraints are major preventive factors in performing optimum design of large-scale truss structures in a reasonable time. Meta-heuristic algorithms are known as one of the useful tools to d...

DISCRETE AND CONTINUOUS SIZING OPTIMIZATION OF LARGE-SCALE TRUSS STRUCTURES USING DE-MEDT ALGORITHM

Design optimization of structures with discrete and continuous search spaces is a complex optimization problem with lots of local optima. Metaheuristic optimization algorithms, due to not requiring gradient information of the objective function, are efficient tools for solving these problems at a reasonable computational time. In this paper, the Doppler Effect-Mean Euclidian Distance Threshold ...

Optimal Design of Truss Structures with Frequency Constraints Using Interior Point Trust Region Method

Nowadays, in the industrial environment of simulation-based design, optimization has been widely applied. This article illustrates that how truss structural frequency optimization problems is being solved by interior point trust region method (IPTRM). As a possible way, primal-dual interior point method could optimize the structure by multiple centrality modifications with trust region subprobl...
